I was commissioned this short film by DM Thomas Foundation for Young Children to promote Galvin Chance 10th anniversary of helping young people to get into employment by providing training and work experience.

FORESTLINK ‘The Future of Rainforest Protection’ is a short film about the challenges and some solutions to the problems of deforestation of rainforests.
My role: Co-editing and animation
By engaging communities in the fight to tackle illegal logging, the Rainforest Foundation UK real-time monitoring project seeks to strengthen the involvement of local forest people and livelihoods in forest protection and management. As of 2017, ForestLink is active in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana and Peru.
Rainforest Parks and People in the Congo Basin, is a series of eight short films that highlights the problematic interaction between local authorities and private interest with inhabitants of some forested areas which have become ‘protected’ and therefore categorised as natural parks.
Logging vs Livelihoods in Protected Areas is the first of the eight shorts. The others can be found on the Rainforest Foundation UK Youtube channel.

I co-filmed, co-scripted and edited this video for DMTFYP in 2017. This video higlights the important work that the foundation does to help fundraising for institutions that support young people and their family who living a better life.
This is a video about a microcredit and empowerment project run by and Italian NGO with beneficiaries located in different part of Nairobi and the coast. I scripted, filmed edited and composed some of the electronic sounds used in the video. This is not the final master but a previous version and unfortunately there are some little mistake that have then been corrected.
This Video documentary was filmed for VSO Kenya. Thought as a trip around the country, it describes VOSO Jitolee Improved Sustainable Livelihoods Project, an initiative part-founded by the European Union and the microcredit organisation Karen. The project provides women who are excluded from mainstream financing with micro-credit and capacity building programs. Projects visited were five, located in Nairobi, Lukore on the east coast bordering Tanzania, Bombolulu and Kilifi near Mombasa, and one in Laikipia discrict. My role in the making of this documentary was: Filming, editing, sound design and Graphic Art work.

This video was produced by Cultural Video Foundation and CISP Malindi in Partnership with The Kenyan Government Children’s department, for the Children Protection Centre in Malindi to raise awareness about the personal and social problems girls face when sexually abused and often forced to marry at an early age.

This short video documentary (27min), was my first ever formal video endeavour therefore I am still keeping it on my webpage because I am sentimentally attached to it.
It describes through a series of testimonies some of the negative impacts of monoculture crops that to some extent now (and more in the near future) are being expanded also to provide for agrofuels feedstock (mainly African Palm and Sugarcane for ethanol and biodiesel production).
